Reading pages
Page views are counted with Plausible Analytics, which is hosted by the site's operator and loaded from this site's own domain, so no third party receives them. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, and it never stores your IP address. To tell one visitor from another within a day it uses a salted hash that changes every 24 hours, so it cannot follow you from one day to the next or onto other sites. The operator sees totals, such as which pages are read, roughly which countries visits come from, and how often outbound links are used.
Server logs. The web server that delivers this site keeps a standard access log: the time, the page asked for, your IP address and your browser's description of itself. It is a short rolling log on the server that overwrites itself as it fills. It is not backed up, and it is used only to fix problems and stop abuse.
Cloudflare sits in front of the site to deliver it and to block abuse. It sees network traffic the way any delivery network does, and handles it under its own privacy policy. While the site switches over, Cloudflare's own visit counter also runs.
Fonts
The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads.
